topic FT College student from Nebraska has W2s for less than $600 in MO and more than $3000 in Nebraska. Looks like MO income is showing up on NE state return. Is this right? in State tax filing

The WSs are for different companies and in different states. MO looks like they don't require a state return for non-residents with less than $600 of MO income. However, should the income earned in MO show up on the NE return?

Yes. If your permanent state of residence is NE, then you will need to report all income from all sources (including your MO sourced income) on your NE resident state income tax return. The fact that you are not filing an MO nonresident state income tax return does not mean this MO sourced income will not need to be included on your resident state's income tax return.
