Does anyone know when the legislature is going to make a decision on the conformity for the 2025 BBB?

We do not have any idea when (or if) South Carolina's legislature will adopt a law conforming to the 2025 federal tax law changes.

I do not yet see a bill introduced that specifically addresses this in the list of pending legislation found here: South Carolina Legislation Search.

It might not hurt to reach out to your representative's office to express your interest in such legislation. As more folks start to see the results of the lack of adoption of these provisions on their tax returns, it's getting a little more attention.

Thanks. I already sent emails to our state reps and have yet to receive a response. Not surprised.
