they are issuing a 25% interest on this tax claim for the time i was no longer a resident. However, this is a W2, it shows clearly that the tax was already deducted from my paycheck and during the time i was a resident. They are claiming for the 8 months in which i left during the covid lockdowns. why did you guys fail to mention the separate form to file on top of taxes for both state and federal? I'm using your service to make this simple and straight forward. You failed to communicate additional tasks that is required to file my taxes and I'm pretty sure i paid extra for insurance in case of issues. Please help the dept of rev on this matter.

When you entered your information in MY INFO for 2022 and entered the state you lived and worked in, you were also asked if you lived or worked or received income from any other state. How did you answer that in the interview questions? Did you correctly indicate that you lived/worked in another state so that the software would prompt you to prepare a part - year return for the other state?

And....you have not mentioned here which states are involved. There are several states with no state income tax, several states with reciprocal tax agreements....
