If you worked remotely from Kansas for the whole year, then none of your income is subject to tax in MO or Kansas City. You would use 260 total work days and 260 days worked outside of the city.

My W2 is split between MO and KS. I teleworked the entire year during which my income source was MO for Jan through Mar and KS for APR through DEC. When I do the computation do I still use 260 days or do I use the number of days that my income source was MO? I lived in KS the entire year.
ex.

MO - 65

KS - 195

It depends. Since you live in Kansas (KS) you should use the full year to compute the earnings that should be taxed to the city.

Form RD-109 is a tax return used by a resident individual taxpayer or a nonresident working in Kansas City, Missouri to file and pay the earnings tax of one percent.

This is a non resident computation.
