Re: I am a flight attendant who lives in Texas but based in Denver. My flights originate in Denve...

What does this mean: "My flights originate in Denver but I’m not working within Colorado."? Surely, you are working at least some in (over) Colorado, right?

List all your flight miles, and figure out if any state has more than 50%. If so, you file that state as a non-resident.

For background, please see this thread.

It may be that you don't have to file a non-resident state, but do have to file your resident return in Texas...or you would if Texas had a an individual income tax (I'm from Texas). So possibly you don't have to file any state return at all.

Thanks for the thread-I think that answers my question.

All of my flights are to different states/countries at random. I just start and end at DIA. I think I can safely assume no state would be more than 50%. Thanks again!
