topic Double Income in State tax filing

Hello, I work for one company. I live in DE but work in NJ. On my W-2, Box 15, 16 & 17 list out the different wages and tax for each DE and NJ. I entered this into Turbotax as two separate W-2 as usual but this year it added both the DE and NJ box 16 showing my NJ income as double what it should be therefore it is over calculating tax due by thousands. Does anyone know how to correct this? I have deleted the W-2 an re-entered it but have found the same issue.

Can't remember, but isn't there a second line within the same W2 for the 2nd state?

Yes, if the work is performed for the same company but the total income is allocated between two states, then it is all entered as a single W-2 with two lines entered in the state section of the W-2. You would not enter it as two separate W-2s.
