I am looking for a way to correct the numbers on MO 1040. I live in FL and work remotely. My company is in MO but I don't live in MO.

So, my MO adjusted gross income [MO1040 item 5 and 6 should be $0 since I earn that income as a FL resident. My income percentage [MO1040 item 7] should be 0%. That should lead to total tax [MO1040 item 36] being $0

MO-NRI form does show that my spouse and I are non-resident of MO correctly but adds all my earnings as Missouri income and Missouri income percentage as 96% - both should be 0.

My question is, am I wrong in my assumptions and if I am correct, how can I change the above items without affecting the Federal return.

Thanks
