topic Local Return NR Form Bug Fix (Other Than Deleting and Adding Back State) Needed Please in State tax filing

Despite correctly entering in TT that I was a full-year resident in the same location and did not receive income in any other locations, TT is forcing me (at the review stage) to complete a state NR form in connection with my local return. Some in this forum have stated that I have a latent entry in my returns and recommended the solution that I delete and then add back my state (to remove the latent entry), but they also pointed out that, if I do so, I will have to redo both my state and local returns. Isn't there any other way to fix this bug? (I don't think I should have to spend the time redoing my state and local returns if I had correctly entered info in TT in the first place and the issue is that TT has a latent entry bug.)

You can try going back through every question in the return and making sure that your answers all reflect the correct residency information. But if you have already created the NR return then you may have to delete it and start over.
