      <title>cannot download state software</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Still cannot download state software (NJ) in Feb 2023.&amp;nbsp; The software checks for the update, says my TurboTax is up to date and stops there and never downloads and installs the state version.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;In general, this year 2023 version is buggy.&amp;nbsp; had already uninstall and install once, otherwise, it was not updating the fields with the data.&amp;nbsp; This issue with the state return is very annoying.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Other stuff:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1) If on a Windows computer...make sure any waiting or partially-installed OS updates are completed. Those are known to block proper TTX installation.&amp;nbsp; Re-boot in any case, even if none are waiting.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2) When you start TTX try rt-clicking on the TTX icon and select "&lt;EM&gt;Run as Administrator&lt;/EM&gt;"...sometimes that helps.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Happens to me every year for the last 3 years. Super frustrating Intuit.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;But here's a fix that worked for me. Go to file explorer, to this folder&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;DIV class=""&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;P&gt;c:ProgramData/Intuit/TurboTax/TY25 and delete the TY25 folder. It won't affect any returns you are working on. Then reopen Turbo Tax - likely you will see the state you have been trying to purchase. If you don't see it buy it again. It should work.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
