Tennessee (TN) s one of a handful of states with no personal income tax. For this reason TN will not be in the dropdown list.

There is no need to enter wages from TN and there will be no income tax withheld in box 17.

thus....leave boxes 15,16,17 entirely blank if on a W-2 form

Or leave boxes 14,15,16 entirely blank, if on a 1099-R

AND a similar response would be appropriate for most any other form with a state line in it.

(For the non-income-taxing states( TN,TX,FL,WA, etc..etc)
