      <description>&lt;P&gt;But note that if you live 183 days or more of the tax year in MI, then you must file your MI return &lt;EM&gt;as a resident&lt;/EM&gt;.&amp;nbsp; Here's a link to the relevant Michigan statute:&lt;/P&gt;
