Need to file 2018 NY State Back Taxes

In 2018, lived in MA, but worked in NYC and did not file a NY State Tax form.

How do I file the NY 2018 State Tax Forms?

I have a copy of the W2 and the 2018 Federal and State TurboTax files.

Sorry---you cannot use TurboTax to prepare a 2018 return. Software for 2018 is no loner available nor is it supported. You can find a local tax pro, or try getting the forms from the state to prepare by hand to mail in. You will need information from the 2018 federal return.

You can no longer get NY tax forms for 2018 from Turbotax.

Options that I can think of:

1) Take the 2018 tax forms that you do have, to a local professional, and have them prepare it for you

2) Download the 2018 PDF forms for a nonresident (IT-203, instructions and any other IT-203A,B,C (etc) sub-forms needed), from the NY Tax website, fill them in manually, and mail them in:

2018 personal income tax forms (ny.gov)
