Can I pay Federal and California tax dues with credit card on IRS / CA tax site with e-filing with Turbotax?

I am not able to see options to pay with credit card from e-filing options.

A little bit digging online it seems I should choose 'pay by check' then go to IRS and CA sites to pay with whatever options available on their sites. The posts I found are dated though (2017), is this still the right way to do so with Turbotax e-filing?

Yes it's still the same. Select pay by check then pay directly at IRS and CA.
