      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I am about to file my federal and Illinois tax returns. I was reviewing my Illinois return and noticed that the Employer/Payer Identification Number that shows up in Column B under Step 1 of 2022 Schedule IL-WIT uses the employer's federal ID number rather than the employer's state ID number. Is this what it is supposed to do?&lt;/P&gt;</description>
