topic Do I need to e-file State a second time? in State tax filing

State e-file rejected because Federal was rejected. The Federal return was corrected, e-filed again, and accepted. If I am reading the TurboTax instructions correctly, I need to e-file my State return a second time. But, that option is no longer available - only printing (which it states don't do as it was e-filed). Yet, the software will allow me to e-file Federal a 3rd time if I so desire.

The program states that State was already e-filed. The software "recognizes" that it was rejected. So, do I wait to see if my original State e-file return is accepted? If I am supposed to e-file again, how do I NOT get charged a second time. Thanks in advance for any useful information.

Since your Federal will already be filed, please follow the instructions here to file just your state return.
