    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello, i worked for a company last year in Texas (where i live) and i just received a 1099-NEC for that specific employer and their offices are in Georgia, the income in the box is $2425, i’m just confused on whether i need to file this or not, because i never physically worked in GA, i worked and made the money in texas&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;You do not need to file a GA return, for the reason you stated, you did not physically work in GA.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;That income is reportable on your federal return.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;You live and work in Texas.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;The fact that the check&amp;nbsp; or the document was mailed from GA has no bearing.&amp;nbsp; Lots of checks and tax documents are mailed from other states.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; TX has no state income tax.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;You just need to enter the 1099NEC on your federal return.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
