Am I a full-time resident or part-time resident of Georgia

Hi,

I am a resident alien for tax purpose. I started my school at Georgia from 09/2021 till 05/2022. Then I went to Texas doing internship from 05/06/2022 to 12/19/2022 (more than 183 days). Then, I am back to Georgia to finish up school, and I plan to go back to Texas as I have got a full time job offer there starting 05/2023. And I do have income made in Georgia during 2022, so I need to file tax return. Am I consider as Texas resident by 12/31/2022? Or am I be considered as part-time or full-time resident of Georgia? Thank you for your help!

Yes, you would be considered a part-time resident of Georgia, so you will need to complete a Georgia state return to account for the time you spent there,
