      <description>&lt;P&gt;I would just follow what his w-2 shows as income for the states except that as a resident of Illinois all the income would be taxable but he would then get a full or partial credit for taxes paid to other states.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;No.&amp;nbsp; The Amtrack Act exempts Transportation workers&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;from having to pay tax on other state income, in that situation.&amp;nbsp; His W-2 should only have IL in boxes 15-17.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
