      <description>&lt;P&gt;No that is correct.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;They want to know your state refund from your&lt;STRONG&gt;&lt;EM&gt; 2021&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/STRONG&gt; state tax return (the one you were supposed to file in 2022).&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; Yes, you probably received that refund in 2022, but it was on a 2021 state tax filing.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;________________________&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;IF you used the Federal Std Deduction last year, then that refund is immaterial, since it isn't taxed this year.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;IF you sued itemized deductions on your 2021 Federal tax return last year, then the $$&amp;nbsp; refunded by the state might be taxable income for 2022...depends on the situation.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Yep...I realized that about 15 minutes after I clicked 'post'!&amp;nbsp; I think the wording could have been a bit better, saying 'received in 2022' or something similar.&amp;nbsp; Thank you for responding!!&lt;/P&gt;</description>
