What is the date the EF update will actually be released ?

When I tried to e-file I got an error message to come back after 3/31. Did that and no update available.

Called tubotax rep who stated 4/4 for the EF update.

Indications in other postings is that it is now 4/7.

Requesting update on when the update will actually be available, instructions on filing paper copy and how to get refund on e-file cost.

Please follow the instructions here to manually update the software, and then try to re-file.

Hello Clarissa

I checked the instructions for the manual update and they say

"They're not available for the Mac or TurboTax State programs".

Since this is a problem with the state e-filing I expect this may not work.

I'll keep looking for the EF update now due on 4/7 by the latest information I've seen, which I think may be part of a larger update for state of Alabama.

Is there a way to view the update schedule ?

Once you manually update the federal program, the state will then update.
