topic How do i add Oklahoma form 565 to e-file my OK return? in State tax filing

When using the step-by-step method, I see a link to form 565 (Credits for Employers in the Aerospace Sector) at the Oklahoma Tax website but the form is not included with TurboTax as far as I can tell. This will be my first year to file for this credit and will be required to provide proof, satisfying the requirements. This will most likely be a copy of my diploma or transcript. Is this form included with Turbo Tax and if not is there a way to include it when I file electronically? Will I have to file a paper copy of 565 separately?

You can take the credit in TurboTax when you complete your state tax return, however, TurboTax does not have Form 565. You complete the form to determine your credit and enter the amount of the credit in the Other Credits section of TurboTax. TurboTax will report the credit on your state tax return. The form does not get filed, you will keep it with your tax records. https://www.ok.gov/tax/documents/565-14.pdf

See the image attached below to see the screen in TurboTax where you will enter the credit amount from your Form 565.

A qualified employer is allowed credits for tuition reimbursed and for compensation paid to a qualified employee. A qualified employee means any person employed in Oklahoma by or contracting in Oklahoma with a qualified employer on or after January 1, 2009, who has been awarded an undergraduate or graduate degree in a qualified program and was not employed in the aerospace sector in Oklahoma immediately preceding current employment.
