How long after e-filing should you expect a accepted/decline status update? Then how long after that to expect to receive refund? I did both at the same time, federal was accepted next day and returns were in my account 3 weeks later. State still has pending status.. why?

Federal and state refunds come from completely separate entities, There is no rule as to which one will come first or how much time there will be between their arrivals.

If your state return says pending after three weeks something is wrong.

Your return may have been ACCEPTED or REJECTED and TurboTax missed the message.

You have to contact your state revenue dept. to find out your status.
