topic Do I file as a resident of MA or NJ? in State tax filing

I have been renting an apartment in MA for over a year, and have been out of school for the same amount of time and I am working full time. My legal address, the one on my license, is in New Jersey. Which state should I say I am a resident of? I was in NJ for maybe a total of 3 weeks in 2018. No real intention of moving back.

"No real intention of moving back."
You answered your own
question. The address you have on your driver's license does not
necessarily indicate where you are a resident. In fact I believe that MA may
consider you as driving without a valid license since you did not get a
MA license within 60-90 days after moving to MA. You also need to re-register your car in the same time period
