How do I get back into my IL state return to change my AGI. I need to correct what I entered.

@momthree101 - If you have filed already then you will have to amend that return.

In TurboTax, you can amend your state return without filing an amendment for your federal.

But, if you need to amend your federal return, the changes that you make to your federal return will automatically be transferred to your state return.

If you only need to make specific changes to the state return, review the directions for either TurboTax Online or TurboTax CD/Download.

Select your version for instructions:

TurboTax Online

TurboTax CD/Download software

But, if you have not filed yet follow these instructions:

Log back into your return

On the left side of the screen Choose State

Then click edit next to the state you would like to correct.

why do you think it needs changing? IL AGI is exactly the same as federal AGI and would have flowed from the federal return unless you overrode it. an override should have prevented e-filng of the IL return.
