Can't E-File MD Business Tax Return with TurboTax Business 2021

When trying to transmit e-file of MD 2021 Business tax returns, I get Error message 'Tax Year 2021 Transmissions are not available. TurboTax is not ready to process Tax Year 2021 for the return'. I was able to submit my Federal Business returns with no issues. I am using TurboTax Business 2021 and I am filing a MD Business Tax returns for a SMLLC. Please help!

Do you actually have a single-member LLC? Which form are you filing?

Did you make an election to be treated as a corporation for federal income tax purposes?

Single-member LLCs are treated as disregarded entities for federal income tax purposes. Without an election to be treated as a corporation, a single-member LLC would file a Schedule C with a 1040.

@Anonymous_ I do actually have a single-member LLC. I am filing form MD 510.

I did make the election on Federal Form 2553 to elect as an S-Corporation when registering the business originally in 2020, and received reciept from IRS, and had no issues with this using Turbo Tax Business last year.

So, yes I did properly elect to be treated as an S-Corporation and the business is a single-member LLC registered in the state of Maryland.

What is the TurboTax phone number? (intuit.com)

Typically, state returns need to be e-filed together with federal returns.

So, I do have Form EL101B in my forms, but it's completely empty.

It's strange it's listed as unsupported for e-file but is the decleration required to e-file, that makes no sense.

I guess I am going to have to call them becuase clearly there is no other recourse.

To be clear, I did try and submit them at the same time, Federal went through and State gabe me the error message I originally reported in my original post.

Also here is a screenshot of the full error. Just FYI, I am fully updated and up to date according to the program.

I have the same error and cannot delete form EL101B. Did TT give you a fix? I really don't want to file a written return.

Were you able to find and fill out MD 510 on turbo tax? My company sent me this form but i can't find this form in turbo tax.

You can view the forms availability here. It depends on the version of MD 510 on if this is supported via e-file or not.
