I got a message that I had to review for my state taxes. Check for update on mortgage interest adjustment. I think it was IT-296

I need to check for updates using online version. It keeps saying I need mortgage interest adjustment form. It sent a email saying it was ready and when I clicked on it nothing happened. Still getting same messages. How can I check fir updates tried everything I seen on here and it's not working. Helpppp
