topic State tax return in State tax filing

State tax return

I received a letter State of California tax board. Saying that my state tax return was blank or incomplete for the 2020 tax year. After comparing it to 2019 many lines are blank. Need to get this fixed.

An incomplete return should not have e-filed. Something went wrong with your software.

Since you have already filed, you will need to do an amend. When you have completed the amend, print the return and make sure all lines are complete before sending it back.

If the software continues to produce an incomplete return, then contact the TurboTax help desk for resolution of this issue.

Did you use the Online version or the Desktop program? Did you efile or mail it? I would call support.
