I click the wrong box when fixing a rejected state return. Can this be fixed? I clicked to Amend and I don't think I should have. Now I can't e-file.

You may have inadvertently clicked the box to create an amended state return. To remove the state amended return you will have to go back through your state interview and "unselect" the amended return function. Please follow these general steps (since the screens for each state differ slightly):

Sign back in to your return and click on the State Taxes tab.
Click on the Edit box next to your state return.
Continue through the screens. After going through the income, deductions, and credits you should see a screen that contains wording about Additional (or Other) Tax Situations.
Look for Change (Amend) a Previously Filed Return. Click on the Start/Update button.
On the screen, Amended Income Tax Return, click on Skip Amended. (Some states will just ask if you want to amend your return. Select No.)

You should now be able to fix and file your state return.
