To ensure your returns were transmitted, check your filing status by clicking this link: https://turbotax.intuit.com/tax-tools/wheres-my-refund/. If there is no information, you may not have filed yet. It is pretty hard to e-file your taxes and not know for sure because you have to click on a big button that says "Transmit My Returns Now".

If you need to e-file your Tax Returns, you must walk through the "File" section of TurboTax. Click "File", which is found on the left side of your screen. You must walk through the 3 steps and then click the button that says "Transmit My Returns Now".
