To correct an incorrectly checked "at risk" box in TurboTax, you must locate the "At Risk" Question.

If you are using the Online version:

In the search icon, search for Schedule C and select the Jump to Schedule C.
Select Edit or Review.
Go to the Uncommon Situations section and select Start or Edit next to "Carryovers, limitations, at risk information."
On the "Do you have any of these other business situations?" screen, uncheck the box that says "I have money invested in this business that I'm not at risk of losing."

If you are using TurboTax Desktop:

Go to the Business tab and select Continue.
Find the Final Details section and select Start or Update next to Special Situations.
Uncheck the box indicating your investment is not at risk.

If the "at risk" box stays checked or the program won't let you change it, you must manually delete the associated form.
