Did you choose to pay your TurboTax fees by having them deducted from your federal refund? If you chose "refund processing" your refund will be less than your Form 1040 and the IRS show you, because your fees came out before the refund posted to your account.

My refund should have been $ 3,147.00 federal, but the issued refund was $1,411.88 after fees. My IRS account shows a refund of $3,147, and that I do not owe any balance from any other year, but almost $ 1,735 is missing from the deposit. I am very confused. IRS and TurboTax say the same amount, but not what was issued.

The IRS may have reduced the amount because you owe back taxes or there is a garnishment issue for child support or something similar. If so, you will get a notice in the mail within a week or two from the IRS explaining the difference.

No, you are not understanding. I checked my IRS account, and it also says my refund is $3147. This is the first time in life filing taxes, and I have never been married, nor do I have children. I only graduated from a traditional college one year ago and started my career. And, the IRS account says the $3147 in my account as the refund, but the deposited amount is incorrect $1411 after all fees. There is a problem...

Your refund could be offset. It could have been offset after the federal released your refund.

The IRS and State Governments have the ability to offset a refund to pay for certain past due debts.  You generally will receive a letter stating what the offset was for.  

The IRS provides a toll-free number, (800) 304-3107, to call for information about tax offsets.
