The voucher forms have not been finalized yet. They are scheduled to be finalized around the end of the month. Once the forms are finalized, you can reprint them if you need them to mail in with your payment. TurboTax Forms availability for Individuals

After the IRS or another tax agency finalizes a form, the tax software companies need to update their programs to include them. As others have indicated in this thread, you can visit this TurboTax webpage for the latest projected form availability dates. The current projected date for Form 1040-ES is February 25, 2026.

Thanks Monika, it just seems ludicrous to me that 1040ES IRS form which was finalized by the IRS on 2/12/26 the best that I can tell, takes Turbo Tax two weeks to update when the only thing they say was wrong with it was the mailing address for the form was inaccurate for a certain segment of the country. And while I could go to the IRS site and print my own 1040ES forms, why should I have too? I could choose cheaper tax software than TurboTax but haven't to this point. When are you going to update for the 2026 1040ES payment vouchers.... a day ago you said 2/25....?!?!? and today is the 26th. when I view the IRS website it appears they have been published

@marthaelutz The estimated tax payment Form 1040-ES was updated with today's, 02/26, release.

Update your desktop software to the latest release, click on Online at the top of the desktop program screen, click on Check for Updates.

Good afternoon. I updated my desktop version of TT Premier today and the 1040-ES continues prints not final. Perhaps it will roll in with the next update?

Also, I found it odd when I computed my Federal estimated taxes for 2026, when arriving at the the part of the workflow where prompted to select "Which Method Do You Want to Use?", and the options are:

100% (110%) of your actual 2025 taxes ($xxx)

100% of tax on your estimated 2026 estimated taxable income ($xxx) <== this is the option I wish to use

90% of tax on your estimated 2026 estimated taxable income ($xxx)

66 2/3% of tax on your estimated 2026 estimated taxable income (farmers and fisherman only) ($xxx)

TT responds for the bottom three options that:

No payments
Based on your entries, you have no estimated tax payment liability. We have not prepared vouchers for you.

The only option that returns data is the first one (110% of 2025 taxes). Since I retired I don't want to use this option vs the second option (which returns no data or forms - I don't need the forms just the amounts by QTR to pay).

Is this a bug related to the form not being final?

If you're not required to pay Estimated Taxes, vouchers may not print for you. Even if you are required to make quarterly estimated tax payments, you don't have to use the vouchers or pay the amount shown on the voucher. You can also make Estimated Tax Payments directly on the IRS site.

Thanks for your comment. I am required to file 2026 Form 1040ES and TurboTax would generate the forms with the watermark "Do Not File Form Not Final. My disappointment is simply that it took TurboTax 2wks after the IRS finalized the form to incorporated into their software when the only change that was made to the form was a corrected mailing address.

I do need to file estimated taxes and it appears I received the update regarding the IRS form, however, TurboTax will compute amounts for the 100% (110%) of your actual 2025 taxes option. When I select any other, the message I posted earlier appears and nothing appears in the printed (PDF).

By contrast, the state version of generating estimated taxes works like a champ for 100% of tax on your estimated 2026 estimated taxable income so this seems like a bug in the software. The form not being final was not my issue as I know how to pay online (and have been doing so for years).

I am hoping the Intuit folks can check this out - and confirm the federal estimated tax calculator is not working for computing 100% of the 2026 estimated taxes.

@user17716983577 I believe it was noted the IRS delayed from the initial planed revision date (02/18/2026?) to just last week (02/25/2026) so hence the delay. Also you need to allow a day or two for the Intuit team to apply the fixes, test, and "pack and ship" out to all of us users, which I suspect they don't do all at once but phase them possibly by geography.
