You can’t save your tax return on your computer or save a PDF file until you e-file it when using TurboTax Online. TurboTax automatically saves your data while using.

Before filing, You can preview the 1040 or print the whole return

To see all the forms you need to pay any fees first with a credit card.

You should also save the .tax2025 file so if you want to open it in the Desktop program or need to amend in the future like next year after online has closed. You don’t have to pay the Online fees first to download the tax file.
