I filed my taxes with jacksonhewitt and thay gave me a debit card and receive my federal refund but still no state refund ive tried calling website nothing can you give me any helpful advise??

The main determinate is what state. There are over 40 state tax agencies, each doing its own thing. Some states are fairly quick with refunds, while other states (such as WV, WI, NC, GA, LA, AL, and others) can take a long time processing returns--even several weeks--as they crack down on detecting fraudulent returns. Of course, the Coronavirus situation may add to delays in some states. You may be able to get an idea about how long it takes in your state from the FAQs at your state's tax agency website as I will mention below.

Of course, folks need to be sure the state return was successfully filed. Since you didn't use TurboTax, our steps on how to check to see if was successfully efiled won't apply.

Do you have any idea how to get my state refund when i file my taxes the money comes from the both within 3 week tops this wrek will be the 9 week for the delay on my state refund i got my stimulus 3 weeks ago its crazy dont thay have to pay me somr kind of retabution i eas reading in the tax fotms tjay give the client?

You didn't say what state it is in either of your 2 posts. There are over 40 state tax agencies.

If Jackson Hewitt efiled the state return, then you can phone Jackson Hewitt on Monday to be sure the efiled return was successfully filed and accepted.
