My refund was supposed to be 394 and only received 250 back. No I don't owe any back pay from child support nor do I owe on taxes. Where's the missing money and if you charged me something why are you allowed to call it "free edition"? It's a total scam you work with a third party company for the deposit and shave money off of everyone's taxes

This is mainly a user community forum--not a direct route to TurboTax Support. No one here can know anything account-specific for your situation, but there are some things you can investigate. Here's how you may be able to see if you were charged for something. Log in and at the Tax Home, scroll way down to Order Details. What does it show?

Also confirm the amount of your Federal refund by looking on your Form 1040, Line 35a to see your original Federal refund amount.

What does the IRS "Where's My Refund" tool say about your refund? Does it show the amount that the IRS approved and sent?

Are you expecting both a Federal refund and a state refund? If so, they come separately from different tax agencies and usually on different dates.

Who specifically was your refund from? Look in your bank account. Does it show the funds came from the US Treasury (IRS), or does it show a third-party payer sent it? If it went through a third-party company can you see who it was?

ADDENDUM:

Also, confirm what product you were in when you filed. Some people have to upgrade for certain items in their returns, or do so by mistake. When you log into your online account, look way up in the top left corner. Does it say "Do It Yourself", and then underneath that does it show the edition--Free Edition, Deluxe, Premium, etc.?

Also did you have any add-ons such as MAX, PLUS, or the "Up to 5 days" early option?
