Unable to print or save my 2025 tax return for CA

I have completed both my federal & CA state tax returns and the review states that there are no errors in the returns and no forms that need to be updated. When I try to save the returns as PDF files, the following message appears:

"Your California return(s) is currently unavailable to view, print, or download because some of the forms haven't been finalized yet." When I click the "Notify me when my forms are ready" and enter my e-mail address, the following error message appears: Unable to load messageid No forms or products have been specified. Please close the window and try again. for en_US

What is going on with Turbo Tax???????? I recall that this happened a few years ago and it was a glitch in the software. If the CA forms haven't been finalized yet, why does the error message come up when ask to be notified when my forms are ready. This is beyond frustrating!! I have tried all of the work arounds to try and print and/or save my returns to no avail. Please help!!!

According to the Forms Availability table, the California forms are not ready for print purposes. While many of the CA forms are ready for efile purposes, they are not ready for print purposes. You can see availability dates for both print and efile using the table at the link below. You will see 2 columns of dates. One for print availability, and one for e-file availability.

I'm having the same problem! How could my CA return be filed & accepted yet Turbo Tax won't let me print it!! I've been check for updates for weeks & still can't print 😕

To access your current or prior year online tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the User ID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/

When you sign onto your online account and land on the Tax Home web page, scroll down and click on Add a state.

This will take you back to the 2025 online tax return.

Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the online program screen. Then click on Print Center. Then click on Print, save or preview this year's return. Choose the option Include government and TurboTax worksheets
