Do you have any 1099-DIV from any mutual funds/ETFs that have Section 199A dividends, such as from real estate investment trusts? Some mutual funds/ETFs invest in such REITs as part of their fund portfolios. If so, those dividends can qualify for the QBI. If you have a 1099-DIV, does your 1099-DIV have an entry in Box 5?

Or did you get a K-1 with Section 199A information with it?
