No ! December 2025? Nonsense.

Rumors abound. Don't believe much of what is swirling around.

Would take an act of Congress that wouldn't take effect until mid-2026 at the earliest, IF...if it ever happens at all. The bureaucracy can't act any sooner...So, no one should plan on it.

Applied to each person, or just per family?

What about income limits? Yadda Yadda Yadda.

What $2000 are you referring to? And please screen shot or tell us exactly where you saw that the IRS approved payments for people.

Is this about the rumored $2000 for tariffs? So far that is noting but political huffing and puffing. The IRS does not have the power to approve payments to you. CONGRESS would have to pass a bill for that and then it would have to be signed into law. That is certainly not happening by fourteen days from now. And it is unlikely to happen at all --so don't hold your breath expecting a check for $2000.
