You do not mention what change you made when you amended or how long ago you submitted your amended tax return.

Do not expect quick results from amending. It can take four months or more for the IRS to process an amended return.

It's not clear what you mean by "amended my mistake." Did you actually file an amended tax return, Form 1040-X? Just making the changes in TurboTax doesn't do anything. You have to send the Form 1040-X to the IRS. Depending on when you did it, you might have been able to e-file the amended tax return. Otherwise you have to mail it to the IRS.
