If you efiled and your TurboTax account says its was Accepted then the IRS got it.

If the IRS pulled your tax due from your bank account then the IRS got your return.

I wouldn't worry about it. If the IRS has any problems or questions about your return they will mail you a letter.

On the IRS website I am seeing the message "Your 2024 Tax Return Is Not Processed" on 10/15/2025. I filed my tax return with TurboTax on 1/31/2025 and the return was marked as "accepted" same day. I owed money and that money was transferred from my account to the IRS in February 2025 (so no refund status to track). How can I make sure the IRS has my tax return? What is going on since according to TurboTax my return was accepted in January. I don't want to get some kind of penalty for other people's mistakes.

If you owed money, there is no refund to track.

You paid what you owe, if there is any issue IRS will contact you.

If you want more confirmation, you have to request a 2024 record of account transcript.

@Manda1
