Everything must be saved on your operating system because you used the desktop version. If that data is lost due to a Windows update, there is not another way to get it back.       <title>missing files and folders</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;After my latest update (I was just in Turbotax 2 days ago), all my files and folders are gone, going back 15 years. I've always used the desktop version and everything WAS working fine 2 days ago. I can find the program in my external hard drive but that was updated 2 months ago so most of my data that I had entered is gone. I've done searches on Windows Explorer and nada!! Where the heck did they go and why??&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;The TurboTax update cannot remove or delete files for any other years. The latest update was only for the particular tax year, and it was within the software.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I just update my Turbo Tax and the Turbo Tax folder is now empty - All my *.tax files and pdf copies are gone!!! I have searched my computer and its all gone!!&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
