File a tax return preparer complaint with the IRS.

Also file a report with your local police.

You could try going to a lawyer, but the lawyer's fees might not be worth it for the amount of money involved. Most lawyers will give you an initial consultation for free.

sort of strange because your name should have been on the direct deposit refund and most financial institutions don't allow such a deposit unless your name is on the account. Did you use a Turbotax rep to prepare your return and how do you know it was deposited in their account?
