You can correct your birthdate in the My Info section of TurboTax.

If your return has been e-filed, you will not be able to change your information. Wait to find out if your return is accepted or rejected.

If your return is accepted, you will not be able to change the information.
If your return is rejected (or still in progress), you can change birthdate information by

Logging into your TurboTax online account
Click Take me to my return or pick up where I left off
Click the My Info Tab (located on the left hand side bar)
This will take you to the Personal Info Summary screen; click edit (the pencil to the right of your name or your dependent's name).
Change the birthdate as necessary.

If your return was rejected, make sure to fix any other errors and be sure to resend your return to be e-filed.

@Peacemaker365 Please do not post any personal information because this is a community forum. If you have already filed, it is too late. The IRS will reject your return and then you can make the correction: How do I fix a rejected return?

If you have not filed yet, you can make the change to your return prior to filing.

To edit your date of birth follow these steps:

With TurboTax open search for personal information and then click the "Jump to" link in the search results.
Follow the on-screen instructions to update your date of birth.

If you have already transmitted your return you will have to amend the return. If not you can open the return in "My Info" to correct your personal information.

I need my date of birth fix. I never have any problems with my dob over the years until Sunday when I filed for my taxes. I paid $120 already I need someone to help me fix my dob issues

If you have already submitted your tax return, you will have to wait until the IRS either accepts or rejects your return. You cannot return to the program to make any changes before that.

If your return got rejected for whatever reasons, you can return to the program to fix it along with other changes. You do not need an amendment 1040-X.

If your return has been accepted, you won't be able to fix. You will have to contact IRS at 800-829-1040 to make correction.
