    <description>&lt;P&gt;After downloading and successfully installing the Home &amp;amp; Business version of the TurboTax software in January, I was able to create my return and have been working on it with no problems for the past 2 weekss. Until today. Now I'm getting this error 70001, I don't have multiple accounts or multiple instances of the software running on my machine.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Phone support appears to know less than even I do about this issue, and were no help. And I'm continuing to get this error when trying to open the software even after manually uninstalling, re-downloading, and re-installing.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Error 70001 occurs when you have two instances of TurboTax running. &amp;nbsp;In order to correct this error, you may need to&lt;A href="https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/diagnostics/forcefully-uninstall-turbotax-windows-8-1-10-11/L02V7GKz3_US_en_US" target="_blank"&gt; manually uninstall and reinstall TurboTax&lt;/A&gt;. &amp;nbsp;If doing that does not assist, please follow the steps in&lt;A href="https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/product-delivery/troubleshoot-installation-running-turbotax-windows/L79TYvMhM_US_en_US" target="_blank"&gt; this link &lt;/A&gt;to troubleshoot the issue.&lt;/P&gt;
