    <description>&lt;P&gt;No, if the individual did not file a tax return for a particular year, a transcript of the return is not available since there was never a return created. The return would be created by the taxpayer, not the IRS. You can get a &lt;STRONG&gt;Wage and Income Transcript&lt;/STRONG&gt; that will list information on tax documents the IRS received such as W-2 forms and 1099 forms even if a tax return was not filed.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;When the customer can not provide a prior year tax return because their response is : I did not work for 2022 put I did other prior years ..do I get a prior year copy of a tax return filed...also there are several types of transcripts the IRS offers and what specific transcript do I have the client request?&amp;nbsp; I ask this question because going into complete the state return the return ask question regarding prior year tax filing :&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Did you file Massachusetts tax return last year ?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Did you change your address when you last filed taxes?&amp;nbsp; This answer can be found on a most recent tax returned filed BUT I would like to know what specific transcript on of the 4 the IRS provided should I be request the client to upload into the tax return ?&lt;/P&gt;</description>
