Prompted me to "view only" by asking what method of filing I wanted. Here is where there was a disclaimer that said "clicking start will not file your taxes yet." I selected file by mail.

My homepage says they have been filed even though I never authorized permission to file them. I need to make changes to the filing. How do I reopen the filing? Because I was prompted to select file by mail, will TurboTax actually submit anything?

No. Only you can print and mail it. Turbo Tax only efil...

No. Only you can print and mail it. Turbo Tax only efiles if you actually go to the very end and hit the Transmit Returns Now button.

Click on Add a State to let you back into your retun.

Then when you are done you can efile it. How to change from Mail to Efile https://ttlc.intuit.com/replies/5561257
