I had to do estimated taxes in 2024 because I sold a large piece of farm land. I had never done estimated taxes before and I miscalculated. After completing the forms in TurboTax I now owe around $20k. My question is after filing I want to pay some this month and some next month. Is that possible as long as I pay the total before April 15th?

Yes, that's possible. There are several options when you have a tax bill that you don't have the money to pay. TurboTax will give you options before you check out.

I went ahead and filed Fed taxes. It stated if I wanted to use my credit card i could specify on what date to charge my card, but it did not. 10 sec after I filed the charge hit my account. I wanted to to wait until Mar 5th and it did not give me that option, very disappointed
