Remember that the “”5 day early” date is based on the date given to you on the IRS refund site—-not the date the TT site shows in your account. If your refund does not come in five days ahead of the IRS date, they are supposed to cancel the $25 fee.

You need your filing status, your Social Security number and the exact amount (line 35a of your 2024 Form 1040) of your federal refund to track your Federal refund:

Watch your own bank account. The TurboTax site is not going to update to show your refund date.

Do you not read the post before responding?! They have the 846 code with the date from the IRS site, the 24th of Feb. Same as me. Sounds like we both paid for the 5 days early and yet today is the 19th and we do not have the refund. Based on that you are saying they will give us the $25 dollars back?

You should get an email from TurboTax when your refund is on its way. If you don't receive your refund by the end of today, you will get a follow-up email from TurboTax telling you why they weren't able to deposit your funds on time, and you will get a refund of the $25 fee if you were charged.
