I have used turbotax desktop since 1999. Somewhere somehow all my 2014 return files and documents have disappeared. I have the application still loaded on the hard drive. I cannot locate the return or any of my associated documents saved with it for that year.

Is there a way to request a copy of the return file from Intuit or IRS?

In 2014 I changed from DELL (windows) to a MACBOOK PRO (MAC) in September. So the 2014 turbotax file would likely have been done on a MAC version purchased 11/15/14.

TurboTax only retains online tax returns for the past 7 years, the same retention period as a the IRS. The tax year 2014 return is no longer available.
