The IRS has the most updated information about your refund status since they are the ones that process your return. It might take a few hours for TurboTax to be synchronized with the IRS (sometimes a day or two).

TurboTax never updates to show a different refund date. TT only gives you an estimated date. Your reliable information about your refund has to come from the IRS refund site, because only the IRS is in control.

You need your filing status, your Social Security number and the exact amount (line 35a of your 2024 Form 1040) of your federal refund to track your Federal refund:
